
Jeanette Gallant is an accomplished musician with years of diverse experience working as a music lecturer, voice teacher, performer, vocal clinician, composer, and conductor in Canada, Singapore, Hong Kong, and the UK.
Jeanette Gallant began performing professionally in Canada at the age of 14 in church, community events, theatre, and on television. After completing her first degree, she taught in Kingston, Ontario for two years and then moved to Vancouver where she built a private studio of sixty voice students and began adjudicating numerous vocal and choral festivals. She was a regular vocal clinician with colleges, church music symposiums, arts councils, community/school choirs, and presented specialized courses in vocal pedagogy for British Columbia music teachers and the B.C. Choral Federation.

A first generation New Zealander, Nadia was born and grew up in Dunedin where she graduated from the University of Otago with a BSc in Physiology and a BMus in Voice. She then travelled to the United States where she studied for her MMus at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Roles in opera include the Witch in "Hansel and Gretel", 2nd Lady in "the Magic Flute", Mercedes in "Carmen", Veronique in "Dr Miracle", Nancy in "Albert Herring", Flora in "La Traviata" and Idamante in "Idomeneo". She has also been alto soloist in Handel's "Messiah", Haydn's "Nelson Mass", Mozart's "Coronation Mass", Britten's "A Ceremony of Carols" and Vaughan-Williams' "Serenade to Music", and has sung in many opera gala and lunchtime concerts.
Nadia lives in St Albans with her husband and two children.
