Cost for each talk is normally 50p, but there may be an extra charge as we make donations to the organisation concerned. Talks are fully illustrated & will be followed by tea and biscuits.

Chris Shepheard, from Tilford Rural Life Centre An exciting illustrated talk on the Surrey Defences survey - WW2 defences in this county and their history. Many strange concrete 'blocks' are visible in the landscape but few of us realised that some are indeed the remains of gun-emplacements, 'pill boxes' and other defensive structures left behind after peace was declared in 1945.
